Meet Dr. Ayman Daba

 

Experienced CLIA Lab Director with over 20 years of experience providing leadership to high complexity CLIA laboratories with a demonstrated history of working in the Laboratory Diagnostic industry. Strong media and communication professional with a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biotechnology Rush University and PhD in Biochemistry Cairo University. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer hospital Buffalo NY and Wisconsin University Lacrosse.

He was awarded a UICC scholarship to Department of Experimental Clinical Oncology, Aarhus Commune Hospital, Denmark. He was also elected as a Career Ambassador for the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Dr. Daba was elected as a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry London. Throughout his career, Dr. Daba has contributed significantly to the research community through the publication of nearly 25 peer-reviewed journal articles.

Dr. Daba is a fellow of the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. He is also certified as a medical technologist (MT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) and as a CLIA Laboratory Director by National Registry of Certified Chemist. Licensed as Clinical lab Director in the State Department of Health in the categories of clinical chemistry in Florida and Tennessee. He joined Abbott Diagnostics where he served as a scientist and Quality Assurance specialist for eight years.
